About Me
Hannah Marquez is a Swindon-based theatre maker who has been pushing the boundaries of theatrical storytelling for over a decade. Her focus on devised and immersive theatre has led her to craft a unique blend of physical language and voice that is both visceral and visually stunning.
Influenced by her training in dance, commedia dell'arte, and stage combat, Hannah's work is daring and unapologetically female. She has worked with Wrong Shoes Theatre Company since 2010, earning her a reputation for creating productions that leave a lasting impact on audiences.
Hannah's bold and often violent work has garnered praise from critics, with Broadway Baby calling it "One of the most remarkable striking and uncomfortable productions that I have seen in a long time".
Above all, she is passionate about creating work that resonates with audiences on a deeper level and invites them to be challenged and inspired.
